Extreme Networks 10GB-BX40-U is a bidirectional (BiDi) 10G SFP+ optical transceiver module designed for upstream data transmission on single-mode fiber up to 40 kilometers. Paired with the BX40-D downstream transceiver, it enables two-way communication over a single fiber strand by using different wavelengths.
